In Conversation with Prana: a restaurant getting back on its feet after lockdown
When we arrive at Prana, we’re instantly greeted by the tantalizing smell of Indian fine dining. It’s not a huge restaurant, but it’s cosy and warm and big enough that the staff have been able to effectively socially distance their tables. We walk through the front door and see a family of five sitting at the back enjoying a family meal together. Behind them, a tall cabinet is filled with Prana’s many awards - everything from Restaurant of the Year to Chef of the Year to Best Indian Restaurant in the East of England. British Curry Awards, English Curry Awards, and The Food Awards are a few of the names that sit proudly upon the certificates.
