Glance At the History & Culture of Sasan Gir Jungle Safari
In 1975, Devalia Safari Park was designated as Gir National Park. Previously, the first forest had large numbers of Asiatic lions that could be found in their natural habitat. Despite the fact that Sasan Gir was ruled by British people, Kings, and Nawabs, all of them were highly proud of their unrelenting slaughter of lions prior to India's freedom.
Outside of Africa, the Gir National Park or Wildlife Sanctuary is the only area where you can view wild lions. The maldharis, a tribe, and their cattle reside inside the forest, posing a significant dilemma because they frequently clash with lions, which see the livestock as easy prey.
